Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep tissue, trigger point therapy and other techniques are utilized to effectively release chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Hot stones, cold stones and or hot towels may be used. I also may utilize myofascial techniques and or stretching.
Due to the nature of this specific work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don’t get uncomfortable.
Keep in mind that soreness may be noticed after the treatment. Plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deeper musculature during the session.This process may continue for a short period after releasing through the lymphatic and circlatory and nervous systems.
Hot Stones are used in sessions to relax tight muscles using deep penetrating heat. If neededI may alternate white marble cold stones along with the warm basalt stones. The physiological benefits of alternating hot and cold to the body have long been scientifically and medically proven. It is also great for muscle injuries. The basalt stones are from quarries in Arizona.

This style of bodywork takes you into deep states of relaxation, releasing stress and anxiety, detoxifying the body, and balancing your nervous system.
Relaxation Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It uses light to moderate pressure and swedish flowing techniques. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, and greater flexibility.
In this session I open with Reiki. I may use imagery and chakra energy balancing along with other energy techniques according to the client's needs. I may or may not use massage modalities including or excluding hot stones and or hot towels, singing bowls,crystals, a tuning fork (to move stuck energy and tension) along with intuitive insights to release blockages in the physical body and energy patterns in the aura, chakras or anything else I sense.
Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing, It cleanses and balances the energy patterns in the body. It opens sacred space to allow a peaceful healing atmosphere. As a result, the body’s natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum mental, emotional, and physical health.
During a session, I work in energetic connection with you in order to remove blockages, detoxify your energy system, and restore your vital life force energy.
The Reiki technique utilizes a gentle laying on of hands to conduct the necessary energy force between us. The benefits of Reiki range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain.
Upon request I lay crystals and stones to amplify and balance the energy of the session.
Myofascial release is a form of soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. It does this by using massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release the bonds that exist between the fascia, muscles and bones. Fascia is the connective tissue that connects and covers all muscles, organs, and skeletal structures of the body. Direct myofascial release is sometimes known as deep tissue work. Indirect release applies light pressure and gently stretches the fascia; this allows for increased blood circulation and relief from pain.
CranioSacral Therapy is a fully clothed modality of body work using light touch and hand placement to monitor the rhythm of the cerbrospinal fliud in the spinal cord and key pionts throughout the body to pinpoint the source of an obstruction or stress.
Once the source is determined, I can work to eliminate the barrier and help bring the body to optimum performance levels.
